Itinerary

Your adventure begins as you arrive in Guiyang in the early morning, the capital city of Guizhou province. Upon arrival, local driver will transfer you to Kaili, taking 3 hours. Visit Langde Miao Village, home to the Long Skirt Miao people, an ancient tribe of the Miao ethnic group. This village features numerous wooden structures. Afterwards, be escorted to your hotel and take a rest.

  • Stay in Guizhou

  • After breakfast, start your day with a leisurely stroll through Shiqiao Miao Village, renowned for its traditional papermaking techniques that date back to the Tang Dynasty. Here, you'll have the opportunity to observe skilled craftsmen as they create paper using local natural plants.
  • Next, head to Matang Village, home to the Gejia people, who are not officially recognized as one of China's 55 minority groups. The residents here excel in traditional Gejia batik. If you're interested, you can even learn the art of batik from a talented craftsman.
  • After a full day of exploration, you will head to your hotel in Guiyang to relax.

  • Today, you'll embark on a journey to Anshun to witness the awe-inspiring Huangguoshu Waterfall, the largest waterfall in Asia.   • In the afternoon, visit the nearby Tianxingqiao Scenic Area to admire its stone forest and tranquil lakes before returning to Guiyang for the night.
