Upon arrival at the airport or train station, our private guide will greet you with a name plate and escort you to the hotel in a private vehicle.
- Stay in Guilin
- This morning, step back in time as you explore the rich history of Daxu. Begin your day by visiting an elder's home, where you’ll uncover stories of the town's past. Next, dive into the local culture with a visit to a crafts workshop, where you can watch artisans create traditional Chinese lanterns, paint monkey masks, or decorate lion heads. You'll also have the chance to hear from a local family about their daily life and work. This immersive exploration of the old town will take about 2 to 3 hours.
- After lunch, continue your adventure with a visit to Guilin's iconic Elephant Trunk Hill, named for its elephant-like shape drinking from the Li River. Then, explore the breathtaking Reed Flute Cave, one of Guilin's largest and most impressive caves, famed for its stunning rock formations and the reeds that grow around its entrance.

Drive from Guilin to Xing'an county in about 1.5 hours, where you'll enjoy a relaxing boat ride under ancient bridges discovering the historic canal transport system. As you drift through this charming town, let the soothing melodies of the guzheng (Chinese harp) enhance the experience. After lunch, your guide and driver will take you back to Guilin. Once back in Guilin, take some free time to stroll along the scenic lakeside and riverside in the city center. If you're eager to explore more, your guide can accompany you to 'East-West Lane,' where you can uncover even more of Guilin's rich history.

- After breakfast, our private guide and driver will transfer you to the pier for an exciting Li River cruise, about an hour's drive away. The 4-hour journey from Guilin to Yangshuo is truly unforgettable, with stunning scenery unfolding at every bend in the river.
- Enjoy a Chinese buffet lunch onboard as you take in the breathtaking views. You'll arrive in Yangshuo between 1:30 and 2:30 pm, depending on the river flow. Once ashore, explore West Street, the bustling heart of downtown Yangshuo.
- In the afternoon, our guide and driver will take you to Xingping, an ancient town just 30 minutes away. From there, a short 5-minute ferry ride will take you to your hotel on a charming island.

The best time to visit Guilin is during the spring (April to June) and autumn (September to October). These seasons offer mild temperatures and lower humidity, making it ideal for outdoor activities like sightseeing and cruising on the Li River. In spring, you can enjoy blooming flowers, while autumn brings stunning fall colors and clear skies, enhancing the breathtaking landscapes for which Guilin is famous.

Guilin has a subtropical climate with mild winters and hot, humid summers. Spring (March to May) offers pleasant temperatures (15-25°C/59-77°F) and occasional rain, while summer (June to August) can be hot and humid (25-35°C/77-95°F) with the most rainfall. Autumn (September to November) is cooler and drier (15-25°C/59-77°F), making it ideal for visits, and winter (December to February) is mild but cooler (5-15°C/41-59°F). Overall, spring and autumn are the best times to enjoy comfortable weather and beautiful scenery.
