Travel Insurance
JCT strongly recommends that travelers obtain comprehensive travel insurance coverage, including protection for medical emergencies, trip cancellations, and baggage loss or damage. While we don’t typically provide travel insurance ourselves, some of our tours may include specific insurance coverage, which will be clearly stated. It’s important to note that JCT cannot be held liable for accidents or incidents resulting in property damage, personal injury, death, travel delays, or other unforeseen circumstances beyond our control. Any settlements in such cases will be handled according to the policies of the relevant service providers, such as airlines, hotels, and transportation companies.
Given our cancellation policy and the potential for unexpected events during travel, we highly advise purchasing travel insurance for your trip. It’s a requirement for booking with us that you obtain suitable travel insurance for your journey to China. This insurance should cover situations that might lead to the cancellation of your booking and provide adequate medical coverage for illness, injury, and repatriation if necessary.
As an added benefit, JCT tour packages include China Life Tourist Accident/Casualty Insurance, which provides coverage up to $29,000 at no additional cost to you. This complimentary insurance is included as part of our commitment to your safety and peace of mind during your travels with us.
