Our guide accompanied us from Xi'an to Luoyang via bullet train, which made the journey smooth and enjoyable. The train itself was fantastic, providing a comfortable and efficient way to travel.
The Longmen Grottoes were absolutely breathtaking. We were truly impressed by the intricate Buddhist carvings and grand statues lining the river. Each piece of art tells a story, and it was fascinating to learn about their historical significance from our knowledgeable guide.
Although we were short on time and couldn’t visit the Shaolin Temple, we thoroughly enjoyed our time in Xi'an and this side trip to Luoyang. The experience was enriching, and I left with a deeper appreciation for Chinese culture and history.
