Upon landing at Beijing Airport, you will be greeted by your private guide and driver waiting for you outside the Baggage Claim area. They will transfer you to your hotel for check-in. The rest of the day is at your leisure. You can discuss with your guide for recommendations on activities or simply relax at the hotel.

  • After breakfast, our guide and driver will meet you at the hotel to start your day at Tiananmen Square, the world's largest city square. Stroll through the square and take in iconic sights like the Monument to the People's Heroes, the Great Hall of the People, and Chairman Mao's Mausoleum. From there, we'll head to the Forbidden City.
  • The Forbidden City served as the imperial palace for 24 emperors during the Ming and Qing dynasties, spanning nearly 500 years. It's a central piece of Chinese history and culture, offering deep insights into the imperial past. As one of the best-preserved examples of traditional Chinese palatial architecture, the Forbidden City dazzles with grand halls, intricate carvings, and expansive courtyards that showcase the pinnacle of Chinese design. Walking through its vast courtyards and serene gardens will transport you back to the imperial era, allowing you to fully appreciate its scale and grandeur.
  • After a local lunch, we'll continue to the Temple of Heaven, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Built in the 1420s, it was where Ming and Qing emperors conducted ceremonies to pray for good harvests and offer sacrifices to Heaven. The temple's historical depth, architectural grandeur, and cultural richness make it a must-visit in Beijing, offering a glimpse into the spiritual life of ancient China.

  • In the morning, we’ll embark on a two-hour drive to the Mutianyu section of the Great Wall, one of the most well-preserved and picturesque parts of this iconic structure. Winding through the mountains like a dragon, this stretch of the Wall offers breathtaking views. To make your visit comfortable, we’ll arrange round-trip cable car rides. You’ll have over two hours to explore the Wall, including its watchtowers and battlements, all while walking on Ming Dynasty bricks that have stood the test of time.
  • In the afternoon, we’ll head back to Beijing to visit the Summer Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Originally built during the Ming Dynasty, the Summer Palace is a serene escape featuring the tranquil Kunming Lake, the beautifully painted Long Corridor, and the iconic Marble Boat. This imperial garden provides a peaceful retreat and a fascinating glimpse into China’s royal past.

  • Today, we'll take a 4.5-hour bullet train from Beijing to Xi'an. Upon arrival, our guide and driver will greet you at the station and transfer you to your hotel for a short rest.

Explore the Xi'an Museum nearby, where you'll find a rich collection of pottery, statues, and ancient texts. This serene setting offers a perfect blend of cultural heritage and natural beauty.

  • Start your day in Xi’an with a visit to the Terracotta Army. After breakfast, it’s about a one-hour drive to the site, where your guide will share fascinating facts about this incredible archaeological discovery from 1974. The site features over 8,000 life-sized warriors, each uniquely crafted with individual facial features.
  • Spend around three hours exploring the Terracotta Army, beginning with Pit 1, the largest and most awe-inspiring, filled with rows of soldiers, horses, and chariots. Then, move on to Pit 2 to see the cavalry, infantry, and archers, and Pit 3, believed to be the command center of this ancient army.
  • After your visit, enjoy lunch at a local Chinese restaurant before heading back to downtown Xi’an. Once there, rent a bike and take a leisurely ride along the Ming Dynasty City Wall.
