Ni hao! Welcome to Beijing, the capital of China! Upon your arrival at the airport or train station, our tour guide and driver will greet you at the exit and escort you to your well-chosen hotel in downtown Beijing. The rest of the day is yours to relax and recover from jet lag or to explore the area around your hotel on your own.

  • Stay in Beijing

  • After breakfast, start with a visit to Tian'anmen Square, the world’s largest public square and a symbol of China. Capture iconic photos of Tian'anmen Gate, featured daily on CCTV News. Next, explore the Forbidden City (a UNESCO World Heritage site), the world's largest palace complex and former home to 24 Chinese emperors. With its 500-year history, the Forbidden City was the political and ritual center during the Ming and Qing dynasties.
  • Walk through the Meridian Gate and along the central axis to see the most important palaces. Admire its architecture and ancient art while your guide shares stories of the emperors. Then, enjoy panoramic views of Beijing and the Forbidden City’s rooftops from Jingshan Park.
  • In the afternoon, dive into local life with a visit to Beijing's Old Hutongs. Walk to the Drum Tower for a bird's-eye view of the area, then explore Yandaixiejie Street, an 800-year-old commercial street known for its tobacco pouches and traditional charm. Enjoy local food, and consider a Rickshaw Tour around the Hutongs and Shichahai Area.

  • Start with an 8:00 AM pick-up from your hotel and a transfer to the Great Wall at Mutianyu. Arrive by 9:30 AM and take the cable car up to enjoy stunning views. Explore the Wall’s watchtowers from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, and descend via the fun toboggan ride.
  • Have lunch around 1:00 PM at a local restaurant. At 2:00 PM, visit the Summer Palace, a UNESCO site with beautiful gardens, lakes, and the Long Corridor. In the late afternoon, we head to Beijing Olympic Park at 5:00 PM for photo stop of the Bird’s Nest Stadium and Water Cube. Return to your hotel or have dinner at a local restaurant by 7:30 PM.
