  • Upon your arrival in Guiyang, a local driver will greet you and transfer you to your hotel for some much-needed rest. If you're up for it, feel free to explore the city at your leisure. A visit to the Jiaxiu Tower is highly recommended. This iconic structure, built during the Ming Dynasty, stands majestically on a large stone in the Nanming River at the city center. Its three-story wooden design offers stunning views, especially at night, making it a must-see for visitors.
  • Additionally, consider exploring Qingyan Ancient Town, one of Guizhou's four ancient towns, known for its rich history and vibrant cultural atmosphere. The town is uniquely constructed entirely of stone due to local geological conditions, featuring impressive walls built directly into the cliffs that separate Qingyan into Inner and Outer towns.

  • Your first destination today will be the Xiaoqikong Scenic Area. Nestled among karst peaks, this picturesque site is named after a seven-arched bluestone bridge spanning the Xiangshui River. The Seven Small Arches feature a stunning blend of mountains, water, forests, caves, lakes, and waterfalls, creating a tranquil setting enriched by the traditions of the Tujia and Yao ethnic groups. Upon entering through the east gate, you will take an included battery car to explore various attractions within the area. Highlights include the 68-step Waterfall, the Water Forest (an excellent spot for capturing breathtaking photographs), Wolong Lake (a fairy-tale-like area reminiscent of Jiuzhaigou Valley), and Yuanyang Lake (notable for its two towering trees standing side by side in the water).
