Your adventure begins as you arrive in Beijing, the current capital of China. Local driver will send you to your hotel. After checking into your hotel, you can enjoy the rest of day at your own pace.

  • After breakfast, start your day with a visit to Tiananmen Square, the world's largest public square. Then, step into the past as you explore the Forbidden City, home to 24 emperors during the Ming and Qing dynasties.
  • In the afternoon, you will head to the outskirts of Beijing to enjoy a delightful visit to the Summer Palace, renowned as the largest and best-preserved royal garden in China. Wander through its ancient pavilions, halls, temples, bridges, and corridors while taking in the stunning views of the expansive lotus blooms on Kunming Lake and the vibrant murals adorning the Long Corridor.
  • Stay in Beijing, B, L

  • Today, you'll experience one of the world's most iconic structures - the Great Wall of China. Visit the Mutianyu section, known for its beautiful surroundings and fewer crowds.
  • Then, embark on a journey along the Sacred Way, a 7-kilometer path leading to the Imperial Tombs of 13 Ming Dynasty Emperors. This historic route was believed to be the celestial passage for the Emperor, the Son of Heaven, to travel between Earth and the divine realm. As you stroll through China's largest stone archway and the Great Palace Gate, you'll encounter an impressive array of 12 pairs of mythical animal statues and 12 official statues standing guard.
  • Afterward, return to Beijing city, making a brief stop at the Olympic Village to admire the iconic Bird's Nest stadium and Water Cube aquatics center from the exterior.

  • After breakfast, visit the Temple of Heaven, an imperial complex now transformed into a vibrant public space where locals engage in traditional activities like Tai Chi, dancing, and water calligraphy.   • As your Beijing tour concludes, your guide will accompany you to Beijing West Railway Station for a high-speed train journey to Luoyang, approximately 4 hours. Upon arrival at Luoyang Longmen Railway Station, you'll be greeted by a local guide and transferred to your hotel. The remainder of the day is at your leisure to begin exploring this ancient Chinese capital independently.

  • After breakfast, your guide will collect you from your hotel for a 1.5-hour drive to the renowned Shaolin Temple, located 55km away. Spend approximately two hours exploring this iconic site, known as the birthplace of Zen Buddhism and the cradle of Kung Fu. Your visit will include tours of the impressive temples and halls, appreciation of intricate stone carvings, insights into Buddhist culture, and observations of monks' daily routines and meditation practices. Next, the famous Pagoda Forest, China's largest existing collection of such structures. These pagodas, varying in height, size, and number of tiers based on a monk's Buddhist knowledge, reputation, and lifetime achievements, were built to house the remains of important monks. You'll also enjoy a spectacular 30-minute Kung Fu Show by Shaolin monks in the Wushu Hall.
  • Following your temple tour, take a cable car to the starting point of the Sanhuang Village trail, considered the most scenic part of Mount Song. This unique 3-kilometer stone stairway, built along the mountain cliff, offers a peaceful and mystical journey. As you walk, marvel at the layered vertical rock faces formed two billion years ago and take in panoramic views of Mount Song. This relatively easy hike is suitable for most visitors, including seniors and children.

Commissioned by China's first emperor, Qin Shihuang, as his eternal guardians, this vast army of over 8,000 life-sized clay soldiers, horses, and chariots lay buried for more than two millennia until their chance discovery by local farmers in 1974. As you stand before these meticulously crafted figures, you'll be awestruck by both Emperor Qin's grand vision and the remarkable artistry of ancient Chinese craftsmen. Before touring the museum, you'll have the unique opportunity to create your own miniature Terracotta Warrior under the guidance of a local potter.
  • Following lunch, return to Xi'an to explore the Ancient City Wall, China's largest and best-preserved fortification of its kind. Enter through the historic Hanguang Gate, just as Silk Road traders did centuries ago, and visit a small museum showcasing authentic Tang Dynasty wall ruins dating back over 1,400 years. Ascend the wall for a leisurely stroll and panoramic city views, or opt for a bike ride along its length. Afterward, immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere of the Muslim Quarter, sampling local delicacies and experiencing the area's unique cultural blend.
  • Cap off your day with an evening visit to the Grand Tang Dynasty Ever Bright City, a captivating destination that beautifully recreates the splendor of China's golden age. As night falls, the area transforms with tasteful illumination, offering a magical ambiance that evokes the glory and prosperity of the Tang Dynasty.

  • After breakfast, visit the renowned Da Cien Temple, a significant center for Buddhist sutra translation during the Tang Dynasty. The temple's most iconic structure is the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, standing at an impressive 64.5 meters tall. This pagoda was constructed by the celebrated Buddhist master Xuanzang to house sacred scriptures he brought back from India in the early Tang Dynasty. Interestingly, Xuanzang served as the inspiration for the character Tang Seng in the classic novel Journey to the West.
  • Next, embark on an educational journey through the Shaanxi History Museum. Explore its modern exhibition halls, showcasing a rich collection of artifacts including porcelains, paintings, and currencies dating from the Zhou to Tang periods (1100 BC to 907 AD). (Please note: Due to high tourist volumes from July to early September and during China's National Day holiday (October 1-7), the Shaanxi History Museum visit may be substituted with an alternative activity or attraction).
