When you arrive at Chengdu airport or train station, the local driver will meet you at the exit with a welcome board showing your name. We will take you to your downtown hotel for check-in. The rest of the day is free for you to relax and explore at your own pace.

Start your Chengdu tour with a visit to the Chengdu Giant Panda Breeding Research Base, famous for its panda conservation efforts. Watch the adorable pandas eat, play, and sleep as your guide shares interesting facts and helps you capture great photos. After lunch, drive about 2 hours to see the Leshan Giant Buddha. This 1,300-year-old statue, carved into a cliff face, is the tallest stone Buddha in the world. Climb the stairs to the top for stunning views of the area. You can choose to either hike up the mountain or take a river cruise for a distant view of the statue. The hike is included in the tour, but if you prefer the cruise or want to try both, just let your guide know.

In the morning, take a high-speed train from Chengdu to Chongqing. Upon arrival, your English-speaking guide and driver will meet you at the train station. Your tour begins with a visit to Ciqikou Ancient Town. This historic town, dating back to the Song Dynasty, was once a bustling port along the Jialing River. Today, its stone streets are filled with cultural activities like Sichuan Opera and local crafts, offering a glimpse into Chongqing’s rich culture. Next, visit the Monument to the People's Liberation, a landmark built in 1946 to honor China's victory in the anti-Fascist war. Located in the heart of Jiefangbei’s commercial area, it remains a popular symbol of the city.

Today, continue exploring the highlights of Chongqing. Start with a visit to the Museum of General Joseph Stilwell. Located in his former residence, the museum showcases his personal items, manuscripts, and army uniform, reflecting his role in the anti-Fascist war and the China-US friendship. Next, head to E'ling Park for a panoramic view of the city and the Jialing and Yangtze Rivers. Positioned on the highest point of Chongqing, the park offers stunning views, especially during sunrise or sunset. Then, visit Hongya Cave, famous for its stilted buildings leaning against the cliffs. The architecture blends local culture with the natural landscape, and it’s particularly magical when illuminated at night. Afterward, head to Liziba Station to witness the unique sight of Chongqing’s light rail passing through a residential building. It's a fascinating scene that’s perfect for videos. Finally, your tour ends with a drop-off at Chongqing airport, train station, or cruise port for your departure.
