Day 1: Chongqing Arrival | Liziba Station, Jiefangbei, Hongya Cave & Chaotianmen Dock

Welcome to Chongqing, the “Mountain City”! Famous for spicy hot pot and stunning night views, it’s also the gateway to Yangtze River cruises.

Upon arrival, your guide will greet you and start your city tour. First, visit Liziba Station, where the light rail passes through residential buildings—your guide will take you to the best viewpoints.

Next, explore Jiefangbei Pedestrian Street, a lively area filled with shops, restaurants, and street food.

As night falls, visit Hongya Cave, a vibrant spot with stilted buildings, snack streets, bars, and cafés. From the top, enjoy breathtaking views of the Yangtze and Jialing Rivers.

Finally, your guide will take you to Chaotianmen Dock for your Yangtze River Cruise check-in between 18:00 and 20:00.

Day 2: Yangzte River Cruise | Shibaozhai Pagoda

Your Yangtze River cruise starts with a morning Tai Chi class on deck, a relaxing exercise with slow movements and deep breathing.

Afterward, join a lecture on the Yangtze River’s history and culture while enjoying coffee and stunning river views.

In the afternoon, visit Shibaozhai Pagoda, a 12-story, 56-meter-tall wooden tower. Inside, see a white jade relief of Guan Yu from the Three Kingdoms period. Climb to the top to explore the 400-year-old Hall of Heavenly Kings.

End the day with a welcoming banquet, featuring local cuisine and cultural performances.

Day 3: Yangtze River Cruise | Shennv Stream

Today, sail through the stunning Three Gorges—Qutang, Wu, and Xiling—with towering peaks and lush greenery along the river. Keep your camera ready for breathtaking views!

Later, switch to a smaller boat to explore Shennv Stream, a scenic valley with pristine nature and Tujia ethnic performances.

In the evening, return to the cruise for the Captain’s Farewell Party, featuring music, dance, and farewell toasts.

For an optional tour, visit White Emperor City, known as “Poetry City.” This historic site inspired poets like Li Bai and Du Fu, offering spectacular river views (extra fee).

Day 4: YiChang Departure

After breakfast, check out and disembark at Maoping Port. Your guide will take you to the Three Gorges Dam, a remarkable engineering wonder.

Climb Tanzi Ridge (262m) for a panoramic view, then visit the 185 Viewpoint for a closer look.

After the tour, take a bus to Yichang Three Gorges Center Cruise Terminal, then a driver will escort you to the airport for your flight.

Your 4-day Chongqing & Yangtze River Cruise tour ends here.
