Welcome to Chongqing, China’s “Mountain City,” is a lively metropolis with a stunning skyline, spicy hotpot, Yangtze River views, and deep history—a perfect blend of modern life and ancient culture.
Upon arrival at the airport or train station, your friendly local guide and driver will greet you. Enjoy your lunch at a local restaurant where our local guide will take you, then privately transfer to your hotel for check-in. After check in there would be a time span of around 1-2 hours, depending on how you feel, to rest after your train ride or flight.
First, we will explore the Ciqikou Ancient Town, which is full of Ming and Qing architecture and tasty snacks. End you day at Hongya Cave, Chongqing’s iconic night spot. Explore its stilted buildings, filled with restaurants, bars, and shops, and enjoy stunning views of the river confluence from the top floor.

Start your day with a visit to the Three Gorges Museum, showcasing Bashu bronzes and Han Dynasty sculptures, followed by the People’s Assembly Hall, a Chongqing Landmark resembling Beijing’s Temple of Heaven.
Next, explore the Liziba Station, where the Chongqing Light Rail uniquely passes through residential buildings —perfect for memorable photos.
Then, head to E’ling Park for panoramic views of Chongqing, including the Jialing and Yangtze Rivers, offering breathtaking cityscapes at sunrise or sunset.
End your day with a authentic Chongqing Hotpot at Pipa Yuan Chongqing Hotpot. It is the biggest hot pot restaurant in the world on a whole mountain. It is a must-visit for an authentic, fiery, and unforgettable dining experience!

After breakfast, your guide and driver will take you on a 2-hour drive to the Dazu Rock Carvings, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its stunning sculptures. You’ll explore Beishan and Baoding Mountain, the starting points of the carvings.
After an introductory film, visit Dafo Bay, the highlight, followed by Xiaofo Bay, Shengshou Temple, and the Dazu Rock Carving Museum. Admire nearly 10,000 intricate cliff statues on North Mountain, known for their beauty and craftsmanship. Spend 1-1.5 hours exploring, with an optional 15-minute walk to Buddha statues for a lucky prayer.

Don’t even get me started. The PIPA YUAN HOTPOT is really out of this world. Imagine eating with like 6000 people at the same time and the food was ACTUALLY GOOD! Like bruh, mind blowing!!! The food is spicy, like spicy spicy, but defs worth the burn!!
