Welcome to Zhangjiajie! Famous for the breathtaking “Avatar Mountains”, thrilling glass bridge, and mystical caves.
Upon your arrival at the Zhangjiajie Hehua International Airport, our local tour guide will greet you and warmly welcome you. You will be taken to lunch, then, be ensured a seamless transfer to check-in into your hotel.
After your hotel check-in, the rest of the day will be yours to enjoy.

Start your day with breakfast before a relaxing boat ride on Baofeng Lake. In the afternoon, take the world’s longest cable car up Tianmen Mountain, then hike along Guigu Cliff. Try the glass skywalk for an extra thrill (RMB5).
Next, you will visit the Tianmen Temple, then take the Forest Sightseeing cable car back. Ride the main cable car to the middle station, then a bus up Heaven-linking Avenue to see Tianmen Cave. In the evening, enjoy dinner and admire the dazzling 72 Strange Buildings, with stunning 7D holographic light shows.
After breakfast, enjoy a scenic drive to Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. Take the famous Bailong Elevator up to Yuanjiajie, where you can admire stunning sandstone pillars, including the iconic “Hallelujah Mountains” which is the infamour “Avatar Mountains” and No. 1 Bridge under Heaven.
Next, we’ll continue your visit to Tianzi Mountain for views of Helong Park and West Sea Scenic Area. When done, you will descend by cable car and explore the Ten-mile Natural Gallery with a mini-train ride. Afterward, we’ll escort you to the airport for your evening flight.

Zhangjiajie Tujia Rice Cake (Tujia Niangao) – A chewy, sweet rice cake made from glutinous rice, served with various fillings like red bean paste, peanuts, or dates. However, the city offers a 144-hour Visa-Free Transit policy, allowing travelers from specific countries to stay in Chengdu and other designated areas of Sichuan Province for up to 144 hours (6 days) without a visa, provided they meet the eligibility criteria and have onward travel plans to a third country or region.
