Acceptance of Terms

By booking any tour or service with JustChinaTours (hereafter referred to as “JCT,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), you enter into an agreement governed by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before making a reservation.

By confirming your booking with JCT, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions in full. If you are booking on behalf of others, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these terms on their behalf and have communicated the contents to them.

Booking Process and Deposit

  • A deposit of 10% of the total tour cost is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation.
  • Unless otherwise specified, full payment is due 30 days before the tour start date.
  • The remaining balance must be paid no later than 30 days prior to departure.
  • For bookings made within 30 days of departure, full payment is required immediately.

Age Requirements

  • You must be at least 18 years of age to make a reservation.
  • Travelers under 18 may only participate if accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Payment Currency

  • While our quotations are usually provided in CNY, USD equivalents are available for your convenience.
  • Please note that minor variations may occur due to exchange rate fluctuations.
  • Other currencies may be arranged upon request.
  • Quotes in currencies other than USD or CNY require approval.
  • Self-converted quotes will not be accepted.

Payment Methods

JCT accepts multiple payment methods, which will be confirmed at the time of booking. These may include bank transfers or secure online platforms such as PayPal, Alipay, or WeChat Pay.

Pay by PayPal

PayPal provides a secure and straightforward payment process. We will issue an invoice to you.

  • If you have a PayPal account, you may pay directly via your account balance.
  • If you do not have an account, you may follow the invoice link and complete payment securely using a credit card.

Please note: A 4% transfer fee applies to all PayPal payments.

Pay by bank or wire transfer

We accept payments by bank or wire transfer, particularly convenient for larger amounts. Please initiate transfers 10–15 business days before the due date to account for international processing times.

  • Bookings will be confirmed upon receipt of the deposit.
  • To avoid disruptions, please ensure the balance payment reaches us before your departure.
  • All bank fees, including intermediary charges, are the responsibility of the sender.
  • Kindly confirm with your bank that the transfer amount matches our agreed quotation.

Western Union Bank Transfer

Payments can also be made via Western Union Bank Transfer.

  • After completing the transfer, please send us the transaction details.
  • You are responsible for any fees charged by the bank.
  • The received amount must equal the agreed quotation.
  • Please allow 3–5 business days for processing.

Wechat Pay / Alipay

We also accept payments through WeChat Pay and Alipay. These platforms provide convenient options, especially for expatriates residing in China.

Reservation Confirmation

  • Online bookings: Confirmed once payment has been successfully processed and a booking notification email has been sent.
  • Tailor-made bookings: Confirmed upon receipt of deposit/full payment and a tour confirmation letter from our travel consultants.

Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans can change. If you need to cancel, please follow our cancellation policy:

  • All cancellations must be submitted in writing by email or fax.
  • We cannot accept cancellations made verbally or via messaging apps such as WhatsApp or WeChat.
  • The policy takes effect once we confirm receipt of your written request.
  • Refund eligibility depends on the timing of your cancellation (see our detailed policy for exact timelines).

For Single-Day Tours:

  • 48+ hours before start: No cancellation fee
  • Within 48 hours of departure or no-show: No refund

For Multi-Day Tours:

  • 30+ days before departure: No cancellation fee
  • 29–15 days before departure: 50% of total price
  • 14–8 days before departure: 30% of total price
  • Within 7 days of departure or no-show: No refund

Refund Process

  • Once approved, your cancellation will be submitted to our finance department for processing.
  • Refunds are typically completed within 7–15 business days.
  • Refunds will be issued via the same payment method used (PayPal, Bank/Wire Transfer, WeChat Pay, Alipay).

We aim to be flexible while safeguarding our ability to plan effectively for your trip. Please contact us if you have questions or special circumstances.

Travel Documentation Requirements

All travelers must carry:

  • A valid passport with at least six months’ validity remaining from the return date.
  • The necessary visas or permits for China.
  • At least two blank passport pages for visa stamps.

It is the traveler’s sole responsibility to obtain the required documentation. While JustChinaTours can assist with visa applications upon request, we cannot be held liable for failure to obtain appropriate documents.

Additional guidance:

  • Check passport and visa requirements well in advance, as processing can take several weeks.
  • Carry photocopies of your passport and visa. Keep one copy with you separately from your original documents, and leave another copy at home.
  • For travelers under 18, an original birth certificate is also required.
  • Ensure passport and visa details match your flight information exactly.

JustChinaTours is not responsible for any issues arising from improper documentation.

Health Requirements

Your health and safety are our priority. Please notify us in writing of any physical, emotional, or mental health conditions that may require professional care or special arrangements.

  • Wheelchair users: Bring your own foldable wheelchair; please note that accessibility may be limited in certain areas.
  • Pregnancy: We cannot accept travelers who will be six months pregnant or more at the time of travel.
  • Tibet tours: A doctor’s certificate confirming normal blood pressure and heart condition is required.

Travelers are responsible for assessing the risks of international travel, consulting their doctor regarding vaccinations or health precautions, and reviewing destination-specific health conditions.

We will do our best to accommodate individual needs, but your safety comes first.

Travel Insurance

JCT strongly recommends that travelers obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering medical emergencies, trip cancellations, baggage loss, and delays.

Please note:

  • JCT cannot be held liable for accidents, property loss, injuries, or events beyond our control.
  • Any claims will be handled in accordance with the policies of airlines, hotels, or other service providers.
  • Suitable travel insurance is a requirement when booking with us.

Complaints and Claims

If you encounter any issues during your trip, please inform your travel advisor or our Customer Care team immediately. We are available 24/7 to address concerns and minimize disruption.

For formal complaints or compensation claims:

  • Submit in writing by email, mail, or fax within 15 days of your tour’s conclusion.
  • Include receipts and supporting evidence.
  • Claims submitted after 15 days cannot be accepted.

We value your feedback and are committed to resolving issues promptly.

  • JustChinaTours is committed to providing high-quality travel information and booking services for China tours. We carefully curate and publish travel information from selected hotels, airlines, and tour operators. However, we cannot be held responsible for any inaccuracies or errors in the information provided by these third-party suppliers.
  • While we strive to ensure smooth travel experiences, JustChinaTours is not liable for any changes, cancellations, or failures of services provided by our partners or any other entities not under our direct control. This includes, but is not limited to, alterations in itineraries, equipment malfunctions, or actions by government authorities.
  • We cannot assume responsibility for circumstances beyond our control, such as natural disasters, civil unrest, epidemics, or terrorist activities. In such cases, JustChinaTours and its affiliates are not liable for any additional expenses or inconveniences incurred by tour participants.
  • Travelers are responsible for complying with customs regulations and safeguarding their personal belongings. JustChinaTours cannot be held accountable for any issues arising from a client’s failure to adhere to customs rules or for the loss of personal items due to the client’s negligence.
  • To maintain the quality of our services, JustChinaTours reserves the right to make necessary changes to accommodations, transportation, or itineraries. In the rare event that we must cancel a tour before its commencement, we guarantee a full refund of the client’s payment.
  • Many of our tour packages include activities that require caution and attentiveness. While our representatives provide guidance and assistance, participants engage in these activities at their own risk. JustChinaTours and its employees cannot be held responsible for any incidents that occur after we have fulfilled our duty of care.

Service Modifications

Travel may involve unexpected changes. While we strive to deliver services exactly as booked, modifications may occur due to:

  • Unforeseen events
  • Operational needs
  • Safety considerations
  • Circumstances beyond our control

In such cases:

  • You will be informed promptly.
  • Suitable alternatives will be offered whenever possible.
  • If alternatives cannot be provided, a refund will be issued for affected services.

Please note:

  • We are not liable for losses arising from force majeure or traveler-requested changes.
  • Requested modifications may incur additional costs payable by the traveler.

Modification of Terms

JCT reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Clients are responsible for reviewing the latest version prior to booking.

Terminate of Service

JCT reserves the right to terminate services for any client engaging in illegal, offensive, or inappropriate behavior toward staff or representatives, including obscene, discriminatory, or sexually inappropriate conduct.

Force Majeure

Force majeure refers to extraordinary events beyond the control of JustChinaTours that prevent us from fulfilling contractual obligations. Such events may include but are not limited to:

  • War (declared or threatened)
  • Civil unrest or riots
  • Terrorist activity
  • Industrial disputes
  • Natural disasters (e.g., earthquakes, volcanic eruptions)
  • Severe weather conditions
  • Fire
  • Pandemics or epidemics
  • Similar events outside JCT’s control

JustChinaTours and its suppliers cannot be held responsible even if they exercised all due care, but were unable to foresee or avoid the force majeure event. The company regrets it cannot accept liability or pay compensation in these circumstances. This force majeure clause applies to situations where JustChinaTours is prevented from performing its obligations or where customers suffer damages as a result of such events.
