Last March, we had the pleasure of organizing our group of 16 guests on an unforgettable journey from Singapore to China, through Xi’an, Pingyao, and Mount. Huashan. From ancient city walls to mystical pagodas, this trip was a perfect blend of history, culture, and immersive experiences.

Day 1 – A Midnight Welcome to Xi’an

Meals: Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner

The adventure began as Steven’s group landed in Xi’an airport with Air Scoot at 1:05 AM. Our team greeted them outside the baggage claim and escorted them to the East House Boutique Hotel for some well-deserved rest.

After breakfast, the group enjoyed a leisurely morning, taking in the calm atmosphere at the nearby City Wall Park, a perfect start to Xi’an trip.

First Sightseeing Adventure

By noon, guests gathered in the hotel lobby and set out to explore the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and Grand Ci’en Temple, a site deeply connected to the legendary monk Tripitaka (Tang Seng) from Journey to the West. The pagoda, originally a library for sacred Buddhist scriptures, left the group in awe.

Tang Paradise Park & Chang’an Twelve Hours

Next, the group visited Tang Paradise Park, a grand recreation of Tang Dynasty architecture with lotus lakes, pavilions, and rockeries—perfect for photography and leisure. As evening approached, they explored Chang’an Twelve Hours Theme Block, immersing themselves in Tang-style city life.

The day concluded with a highlight: dressing in Tang Dynasty costumes at Ever-bright Town. Guests transformed into emperors, generals, and nobles, creating lasting memories beneath the sparkling night lights of Xi’an’s historic district.

Day 2 – History and Legends: Terracotta Warriors & Huaqing Hot Springs

Huaqing Hot Springs Palace

The day began at Huaqing Hot Springs Palace, a historic retreat tied to Emperor Tang Xuanzong and his beloved Yang Yuhuan. Guests walked through palace grounds steeped in Tang Dynasty history.

Terracotta Warriors & Horses Museum

After lunch, the group explored the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum, guided by our expert team. For over three hours, they discovered the remarkable story behind the thousands of life-sized warriors, horses, and chariots buried to protect Emperor Qin Shi Huang.

The day ended with a relaxed drive back to Xi’an for dinner and overnight rest.

Day 3 – Day Trip from Xi’an to Mount. Huashan

Meals: Breakfast / Dinner

The group traveled to Mount. Huashan in the morning which took two hours ride. it is one of China’s five sacred mountains. Ascending via cable car, guests enjoyed dramatic granite cliffs and panoramic peaks. Some hiked along scenic trails, while others relaxed and absorbed the serene beauty.

Snacks and refreshments were provided to keep the group energized before returning to Xi’an for dinner and overnight rest. All meals are served in local authentic Chinese restaurants, there was no touristy food at all on the entire trip.

Day 4 – Xi’an to Pingyao Ancient Town by Bullet Train

After breakfast, the group boarded a high-speed train to Pingyao, a UNESCO World Heritage city famed for its intact Ming and Qing Dynasty architecture.

Upon arrival, the local guide led guests to The Kylin Grand Hotel Pingyao. The group explored Rishengchang Draft Bank, China’s first draft bank, and the Pingyao County Magistrate Hall, gaining insights into Qing Dynasty governance.

The afternoon was free to wander cobbled streets, sip tea, and experience the local culture.

Day 5 – Pingyao Cultural Tours & Return to Xi’an by Bullet Train

Meals: Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner

Morning trip Pingyao included visits to Zhenguo Temple (963 AD) and Shuanglin Temple (571 AD), where guests admired ancient murals, woodwork, and over 2,000 statues.

After lunch, the group returned to Xi’an via high-speed train. Dinner served at the hotel in Xi’an, ending the day with cultural immersion.

On the high-speed train back to Xi'an, the guests were all in high spirits.

Day 6 – Xi’an City Tour at Their Own Relaxing Pace

Meals: Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner

Historical Exploration

Guests visited the Small Wild Goose Pagoda, built over 1,300 years ago, followed by the Xi’an History Museum, featuring artifacts from Zhou, Qin, Han, and Tang Dynasties.

After lunch, the group explored the Great Mosque and the bustling Muslim Street, enjoying local street food and souvenirs. Bell Tower & Drum Tower Square offered excellent photo opportunities before returning to the hotel.

Day 7 – Fly back to Singapore from Xi’an

The final day began with a leisurely morning and a walk atop the Xi’an City Wall, enjoying a panoramic city views. The afternoon was free for shopping or relaxing before dinner and a midnight transfer to the airport.
