4 Days Chengdu and Chongqing Tour

  • Upon arrival in Chengdu, our local driver will meet you at the airport or train station, then head into the Chengdu city and check in your hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to relax or take a stroll nearby and soak up the pace of local life. This is a great time to settle in and get a first feel for the city.

  • Begin your day at the Giant Panda Breeding Research Base, where you watch these beloved creatures munch bamboo and tumble around their enclosures. Later, you will take a 2-hour drive to the Leshan Giant Buddha. This towering cliff-side statue is a true marvel. Climb to the top for sweeping views and take in the atmosphere. If you prefer, you can also join a river cruise for a different perspective.

  • This morning, board a high-speed train to Chongqing, where your guide welcomes you on arrival. After settling in, explore Ciqikou Ancient Town, where the old streets are alive with opera, snacks, and crafts. In the evening, you will visit the People’s Liberation Monument, a powerful landmark set in the city’s bustling downtown district.

  • After breakfast, begin today at the General Stilwell Museum to reflect on wartime history and China-US ties. Then, climb to E’ling Park for sweeping views over the city and its rivers. Later, explore Hongya Cave, where stilted buildings and glowing lights create a magical riverside scene. Before leaving, stop at Liziba Station to watch the light rail pass through a high-rise — one of Chongqing’s quirkiest sights. Your guide will see you off at the airport or train station.

    A smooth Chongqing experience

    I had a great experience on my Chongqing tour booked through JustChinaTours. Everything went smoothly. I especially loved visiting Wulong Karst — the scenery was breathtaking and not crowded, which made it even better.     Amazing travel experience!

    From airport pickup to the final day, everything ran like clockwork. The guide was fantastic, offering interesting stories and taking great care of us.     great value and amazing scenery

    The views at Wulong Karst were some of the best I’ve ever seen. Our guide made sure we didn’t miss anything and even helped us try local snacks at Ciqikou. Everything was clean, safe, and professional. I’d gladly book again with JuctChinaTours for another China trip.
