Welcome to Zhangjiajie! Famous for the breathtaking “Avatar Mountains”, thrilling glass bridge, and mystical caves.
Upon your arrival at the Zhangjiajie Hehua International Airport, our local tour guide will greet you and warmly welcome you. You will be taken to lunch, then, be ensured a seamless transfer to check-in into your hotel.
After your hotel check-in, the rest of the day will be yours to enjoy.

Start your day with a hotel breakfast, then head to our first destination, the Yellow Stone Village, the highest point in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park at over 1,000 meters. Take a cable car for breathtaking views of the peaks, and, if lucky, a stunning sea of clouds.
Next, we’ll visit Golden Whip Stream, a famous spot in Zhangjiajie. This 7.5 km stream winds through valleys and peaks, offering a relaxing 2-hour hike with scenic views, wildlife, and ancient trees.
To end the day, visit Baofeng Lake, where nature meets local culture. Enjoy a peaceful boat ride to take in the serene scenery. Then, return to your hotel for a well-earned rest.

After breakfast, you will meet your guide and driver in the hotel lobby. First, visit Tianzi Mountain, one of Wulingyuan’s top scenic spots. Standing at 1,262 meters, it offers stunning views of peaks like HeLong Park and YuBi Peak. Ride a sightseeing bus up and take a cable car down.
Next, we’ll visit Yuanjiajie in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. Surrounded by towering peaks and stunning valleys, it features the Enchanting Platform, No.1 Bridge under Heaven, and the 335-meter-high Bailong Elevator—the world’s tallest outdoor elevator. This scenic spot became famous as the inspiration for “Avatar Hallelujah Mountain.“
Finally, we’ll visit Ten Mile Gallery, a scenic trail in Suoxiyu Nature Reserve. Enjoy a fairy-tale landscape on this 5 km walk or take an optional mini-train (extra cost). Afterward, your guide will take you back to your hotel to rest.

After lunch, we’ll visit Tianmen Mountain, famous for its unique landscape. Take the world’s longest cableway, then enjoy the Sky Walk and visit the Tianmen Mountain Temple. Descend to explore Tianmen Cave. Afterwards, you’ll have dinner and we’ll return you to your hotel to relax.

At the end of your tour, our guide and driver will take you from your hotel to the airport. Flights from Zhangjiajie connect to major cities like Xi’an, Beijing, and Chengdu, if you consider to extend your tour to neigbouring cities. Thank you for choosing JustChinaTours! However, the city offers a 144-hour Visa-Free Transit policy, allowing travelers from specific countries to stay in Chengdu and other designated areas of Sichuan Province for up to 144 hours (6 days) without a visa, provided they meet the eligibility criteria and have onward travel plans to a third country or region. The glass bridge is a thriller! Almost have heart attack from glass bridge. However, I loved it!! Also the Hallelujah Mountians like Avatar Mountians, very nice.
