Hello, I’m Julia. For over a decade, I’ve been helping travellers from around the world experience the beauty and depth of China. Living in Xi’an, a city known as the starting point of the Silk Road, I’ve always felt inspired by the blend of history, culture, and everyday life that makes this country so unique.

What I enjoy most is sharing these experiences with visitors. China has countless well-known landmarks, but what truly excites me is guiding people to discover the lesser-known gems. From peaceful temples tucked away in old neighbourhoods to lively markets where locals gather, I love showing guests the authentic side of China beyond the guidebooks.

I also understand that every traveller comes with different hopes. Some are keen to walk through thousands of years of history at the Terracotta Warriors, others dream of sailing through the karst peaks of Guilin, while some simply want to slow down and enjoy a quiet tea house in Chengdu. My role is to listen, support, and ensure that each journey feels personal and comfortable.

Travellers often tell me that their most memorable moments weren’t always the big landmarks but the small touches along the way – sharing stories with a local family over dinner, joining a morning tai chi session in a park, or tasting freshly made dumplings together. These moments of connection bring China’s culture to life in the most genuine way.
