Day-by-day travel plan

  • Arrive in Chengdu, meet your guide and driver at airport, then check in the hotel. After a short rest, explore Jinli Ancient Street, famous for local snacks, traditional architecture, and lively folk performances.

  • After breakfast, your guide and driver will meet you at the hotel lobby for a 40-minute drive to the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding. You’ll watch these adorable pandas in a natural setting. Then, you will head to the peaceful Wenshu Monastery to enjoy tea in its traditional teahouse.

    After lunch, a short ride takes you to People’s Park, where locals play mahjong and dance. Later, you will explore Qing Dynasty courtyards and shops in Wide and Narrow Alleys. The day ends with a dazzling Sichuan Opera face-changing show at a local theater.

  • At 9:00, your guide will meet you at hotel and drive about 1 hour to the railway station. Board a high-speed train for a smooth journey to Chongqing. From the station, a short drive brings you to Ciqikou Ancient Town, full of historic charm.

    Next, you will visit the Three Gorges Museum to explore the Yangtze River’s story. As evening falls, stroll Jiefangbei Pedestrian Street before enjoying an authentic Chongqing hot pot.

  • This morning, you will take a short drive to the Yangtze River Cableway for sweeping views of Chongqing’s skyline and bridges. Next, a quick 15-minute ride brings you to Liziba Station to see the famous train passing through a high-rise building—an urban marvel not to miss. If time allows, you will explore a local park or market before your guide transfers you to the airport or train station for onward travel.

    A smooth Chongqing experience

    Amazing travel experience!

    great value and amazing scenery

    The views at Wulong Karst were some of the best I’ve ever seen. Our guide made sure we didn’t miss anything and even helped us try local snacks at Ciqikou. Everything was clean, safe, and professional. I’d gladly book again with JuctChinaTours for another China trip.
