This morning, take a shore excursion to one of the Yangtze’s beautiful tributaries, such as Shennv Stream, Shennong Stream, or the Lesser Three Gorges. These narrow valleys are surrounded by lush mountains and offer a closer look at the river’s natural beauty.
Around noon, the ship sails through the spectacular Wu Gorge, famous for its forested peaks and misty cliffs. In the afternoon, continue cruising into the majestic Qutang Gorge, the shortest but most dramatic of the Three Gorges. Today’s highlight is a shore excursion to either Shibaozhai Pagoda or Fengdu Ghost City, depending on your cruise schedule.
