Day-by-day travel plan

  • Upon arrival in Chongqing, your local guide and driver will greet you at the airport. After a private transfer and some rest, you will explore Ciqikou Ancient Town with its historic Ming and Qing architecture and tasty snacks. Your day finishes at Hongya Cave, wandering vibrant stilted buildings filled with shops and restaurants, enjoying panoramic views of the river confluence from above.

  • After breakfast, start at the Three Gorges Museum, discovering ancient bronzes and sculptures, then visit the iconic People’s Assembly Hall. Next, you will see Liziba Station, where the light rail runs through buildings
    — a unique sight. Afterward, you will enjoy sweeping views from E’ling Park, including the Jialing and Yangtze Rivers,before ending the day with a fiery hotpot feast, the world’s largest hotpot restaurant.

  • This morning, drive 2 hours to the Dazu Rock Carvings. After watching a short film introduction, you’ll explore the stunning cliffside sculptures of Beishan and Baoding Mountain. You’ll also visit Xiaofo Bay, Shengshou Temple, and the Dazu Museum. You’ll spend about 1.5 hours here — don’t miss the optional 15-minute walk to the Buddha statues for a lucky prayer. Then, your guide will transfer you to the airport, ensuring you arrive in time for your scheduled flight for departure.

    A smooth Chongqing experience

    I had a great experience on my Chongqing tour booked through JustChinaTours. Everything went smoothly.     Amazing travel experience!

    great value and amazing scenery

    The views at Wulong Karst were some of the best I’ve ever seen. Our guide made sure we didn’t miss anything and even helped us try local snacks at Ciqikou. Everything was clean, safe, and professional. I’d gladly book again with JuctChinaTours for another China trip.
