Best Time to Visit Chongqing

The best time to visit Chongqing is during spring (March to May) and fall (September to November). These seasons bring vibrant colors to the city, with the blooming flowers in spring and the golden hues of autumn making the landscapes stunning. However, it can get busy during this time. To avoid the crowds, we can explore the beauty of the city by taking a river cruise along the Yangtze in early spring.

The summer months (June to August) are ideal for outdoor adventures, with cooler temperatures in the mountainous areas. However, expect humidity in the city. The rainy season typically occurs from May to July.

For a unique experience, visit Chongqing in winter (December to February). While it’s cooler, the city’s hot springs and winter festivals create a warm and inviting atmosphere.
