Today, your guide will lead you through this extraordinary region of soaring granite cliffs, deep canyons, and crystal-clear streams. At the legendary No.3 Mine, home to 86 of the world’s 140 known minerals, you’ll uncover fascinating geological secrets and marvel at the natural treasures hidden within its rocks.

Throughout the morning, you’ll soak in breathtaking views and invigorate your senses with crisp mountain air. In the afternoon, your journey continues as you travel by road to Burqin – a comfortable 4–5 hour drive through untouched wilderness, offering sweeping vistas of grasslands and silent forests.
By evening, you’ll arrive in Burqin, where you’ll settle into your hotel and look forward to savoring the town’s famous grilled fish, the perfect way to end another remarkable day.

After a restful night in Burqin, you’ll set off on a scenic drive through rolling hills and forests toward Hemu Village, a hidden gem in the mountains of Northern Xinjiang. As you arrive, the tranquil beauty of Hemu will unfold before you – meadows dotted with grazing horses and cattle, rustic wooden houses, and lush stands of birch and pine.
You’ll wander peaceful village paths, where you can meet friendly Kazakh and Tuva locals, watch their traditional ways of life, and capture the idyllic scenery with your camera.

Lunch will treat you to authentic Xinjiang flavors at a cozy village hotel, immersing you in the region’s unique culinary traditions.
By late afternoon, you’ll continue your journey, traveling through breathtaking alpine landscapes as you make your way to Kanas. You’ll arrive in Kanas by evening, settling into your accommodation to enjoy a peaceful night surrounded by pristine nature.

Today, your guide will take you deep into the enchanting Kanas Nature Reserve – a landscape that feels straight out of a fairytale. You’ll start by exploring the legendary Kanas Lake, where you can stroll along peaceful shores and watch the water shift from deep blue to brilliant emerald depending on the light. Pause to take in the tranquility or snap photos of the dreamlike scenery.

Your journey continues as your driver escorts you along the picturesque Kanas River. You’ll meander through pristine forests and stop at scenic spots like Fairy Bay and Moon Bay, each offering stunning vistas and unique photo opportunities. As the afternoon draws to a close, your guide will lead you out of the reserve and back toward Burqin. You’ll arrive in the evening, ready to check into your hotel and unwind with a hearty local meal after a day brimming with natural wonders.

After breakfast, your driver will accompany you on a scenic seven-hour journey toward Karamay, with each stop adding color and wonder to your adventure.
